Indie Horror Movie Harvest Season Shoots at the Most Extreme Haunted House in America, the Haunted Hoochie in Ohio
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) October 28, 2014 -- Harvest Season has started shooting at the world famous Dead Acres’ Haunted Hoochie, which is considered one of the most extreme haunted houses in America. “We are basically walking onto a set that is 30 years in the making and creating a shocking horror film,” says Hector Tinoco, the Director of the movie. “This turnkey set – along with the extras for the film who are already in Haunted House mode – helps us keep costs low and production costs streamlined.”

Written by Ryan James Russell, Harvest Season is a love letter to Halloween. It's a mixture of modern Halloween kitsch and ancient Pagan traditions. It tells the story of Summer, a girl heartbroken by the end of her engagement to her fiancé Pete. She follows him to a remote haunted house attraction, where she braves the scares of the haunted house to find her love. In the process, she discovers the place’s proprietor, the sinister Leland Crawford… and she discovers the haunted house may hide secrets more real and gruesome than anyone could have imagined. With the police not believing her claims and the haunted house’s denizens hunting her down, Summer's night becomes a desperate fight for survival. Will love prevail? Or will she become one of the Harvested?
