PET FEST 2014 Now Accepting Booth Reservations and Casting Call for Participants
Laredo, TX (PRWEB) October 24, 2014 -- Pet Fest 2014 Laredo is now accepting vendor booth reservations and searching for event participants for our Pet Parade, Pet Fashion Show, and Pet Talent Show. This event is held in conjunction with our BIG DAWG sponsors L&F Distributors and Petco along with many businesses and community leaders. Proceeds to benefit local animal care facilities and foster families struggling to help the abandoned and suffering animals in our community.
PET FEST 2014 will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Laredo Civic Center 2400 San Bernardo Avenue in Laredo, Texas from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM. It is free to the public. Schedule of events is as follows:
11:00 AM Opening Ceremony, 11:30 AM Pet Parade, 12:30 PM Pet Talent Show, and 1:30 PM Pet Fashion Show. Ongoing events throughout the day include Pet Clinics, Pet Grooming and Training Demonstrations, Critter Film Fest, Pet Treat Tasting Bar, Pet Art Show and Contest, Entertainment, Food and Craft Booths, Petting Zoo, Door Prizes and much more! The first 100 children (10 and under) will receive a free holiday mini beanie pup! Bring a bag of dry dog or cat food (minimum 5 lb.) get a free Pet Fest T-shirt while supplies last.
Professionals from the local animal care industry will be on hand to share information and pet care tips. Our Pet Care Clinic will provide micro-chipping, vaccines, and wellness checks at reduced and minimal cost.
Our mission is to educate the community about the importance of being responsible pet owners and how we can all join together to help and support the needy, abandoned animals in our community through and event the whole family can enjoy.
