Dr. Phil Show features Center for Discovery Family Treatment Program
Los Alamitos, CA (PRWEB) October 23, 2014 -- Center for Discovery, a leader in residential treatment for adolescents, is being featured on tomorrow’s episode of the Dr. Phil show. The episode, which airs on Friday, October 24, 2014, is titled “Bright, Beautiful and Blowing Up: Help My Teen Before it’s too Late.” Center for Discovery is providing residential treatment services through its adolescent treatment program for a guest on the Dr. Phil show.
“We are thrilled to once again work with the Dr. Phil Show in its tireless efforts to provide the finest treatment for troubled teens and their families,” said Mark Hobbins, President and COO of Center for Discovery.
Friday’s episode of the Dr. Phil Show focuses on a 15-year-old girl who, by outward appearances, seems to be doing well in life: she has friends, decent grades, and a job. Her mother, however, fears that her daughter’s life is spiraling out of control. The girl feels isolated and alone. She and other family members, including her mother, stepfather, stepsister and her biological father are dealing with difficult family relationship issues. Dr. Phil determines that the entire family needs help, and he invites returning subject matter expert, Dr. Matthew Polacheck, Program Director at Center for Discovery, to share his opinion. The family leaves the stage with Dr. Polacheck and his team in order to immediately enter treatment at Center for Discovery, where the family can participate in a specialized family program.
