Northern Virginia Technology Council Announces New Tech Awards
Herndon, VA (PRWEB) October 23, 2014 -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) today announced the Tech Awards, a new awards program recognizing influential leaders and innovative companies/firms in our region's technology community. The Awards will be presented at NVTC's TechCelebration Annual Banquet on Dec. 8, 2014. Click here to nominate in one of the following categories by October 31, 2014:
• Tech Company of the Year: (Under $50 million and over $50 million in revenue): Presented to two technology companies that have proven their dedication, vision and ability to make things happen by working with a sustained, strategic business plan to grow into players in the area's tech industry. While finalists will be selected by an independent judging panel, winners in this category will be chosen through online voting in the weeks leading up to TechCelebration.
• Tech Executive of the Year: Presented to a C-Level executive with a proven track record of substantial contributions in the technology industry in the Greater Washington region.
• NVTC Associate Member of the Year: Recognizing the important contributions of NVTC Associate member companies/firms (law firms, venture/investment firms, banks, accounting firms and other service providers) in Northern Virginia’s technology ecosystem.
• Innovative Use of Technology: This unique award highlights the region's "tech-enabled" companies/firms that demonstrate exemplary competency in utilizing current or disruptive technology to solve business problems and drive results.
