‘Happyland’ Star Camille Guaty Talks Princess Dresses, Elena’s Affair, and Season One Spoilers On Maria Menounos’ Online Network AfterBuzz TV
(PRWEB) October 23, 2014 -- On Wednesday, October 22nd, a star of the new hit MTV show ‘Happyland’, Camille Guaty, stopped by Maria Menounos’ online broadcast network, AfterBuzz TV, to talk with hosts Yael Tygiel, Kylie Hodges, Sam Davidson, and Vivian Adaobi. Guaty dove into the nitty gritty of the soapy teen dramedy, covering everything from her Princess Adrianna dress to Elena’s affair with Happyland president, James Chandler.
Regarding the gown that Guaty wore, she revealed why a zipper was added, “I get claustrophobic, so the corset was, like, making me hyperventilate. So they’re like, ‘what we’ll do it put a little zipper on the side so you can tighten the corset all the way and then put the zipper on’ and whenever I felt claustrophobic I could just unzip it.”
While not many characters yet know the truth about the affair between Elena and James, Guaty says that Theodore may know more than he’s letting on, “He’s definitely clued in to [Elena]. He clocked [her] at the very beginning.” She continues, “Because [James is] the president of the park, [Theodore is] wary of people coming in, and like, taking advantage. So he’s fully aware of what [Elena’s] done. He’s kind of getting some clue in as to who Lucy is.”
When asked if Elena is aware of Theodore’s knowledge, she teases, “No, no. Not yet.”
On Elena’s most recent promotion, Guaty says, “The reason why [James Chandler] gives [her] the job is, we learn later, is to work more closely with him […] I think what’s really happening is he did love [Elena]. So, you know, there’s just some things in the way…” referring to his wife.
As for spoilers, Guaty confirms that viewers will meet Mrs. Chandler. And she promises that we’ll uncover the secret of what Ian did in New York before the season ends, teasing, “I’ll just say that the ones who play innocent are not so innocent… of the boys.”
MTV’s ‘Happyland’ airs Tuesdays at 11pm.
