Teachers First, So Students Succeed

Results can be used by teachers to gauge progress and adjust lesson plans, and at the same time students are gaining familiarity with modern computer-based item types and test navigation.

Walch Integrated Math announced today that it has launched SBAC-type unit assessments that are integrated with its widely adopted Integrated Math I, II, and III resources for teachers and students.

“We’re very excited to announce that we have enhanced our Integrated Math resources with SBAC-type online assessments. Results can be used by teachers to gauge progress and adjust lesson plans, and at the same time students are gaining familiarity with modern computer-based item types and test navigation,” said Rebecca Johnson, District Solutions Manager.

Walch’s Integrated Math resources have been adopted by leading districts across the country, from California and Utah to Illinois and Georgia. SBAC-type online assessments are one of the first features in a very aggressive product plan the company has put together to leverage modern technology so that teachers can be more effective and student learning can accelerate. Walch’s technology enhancements are built on the latest platforms, ensuring compatibility with computers, phones, tablets, and other devices.

“This is another important step in the build-out of our Math I, II, and III resource offerings,” said Jill Rosenblum, Vice President of Education at Walch Integrated Math. “We value the feedback we receive from the tens of thousands of teachers and students who are using our CCSS Integrated Math resources today, and this was high on their priority list.”
