Atlantix Global Expands to New Facility Following Growth of Asset Recovery Business
Norcross, Georgia (PRWEB) October 28, 2014 -- Atlantix Global Systems today announced expansion to a new 68,000 square foot refurbishing and distribution center to accommodate the growth driven in part by its Asset Recovery Services Program.
Atlantix Global’s Asset Recovery Services program maximizes the return on investment of a company’s end-of-life IT equipment, while also mitigating compliance risks when the equipment is refurbished and remarketed. The program is supported by a national logistics and distribution network, enabling Atlantix Global to manage every phase of the Asset Recovery process.
“Asset Recovery has become an integral part of the growth that Atlantix Global has experienced in the last 12 months,” said Brian Glahn, president and chief executive officer, Atlantix Global Systems. “The new facility will be retrofitted according to our recent certifications for environmentally responsible IT recycling and refurbishing.”
Early in 2014, Atlantix received ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications, the world’s first internationally recognized standards for environmental management—pre-requisites for any business focused on IT recycling and asset recovery. In addition, Atlantix became a certified R2:2013 electronics recycler in 2014, a guarantee that all electronics that enter the Atlantix Global Asset Recovery Services program will be handled with environmental responsibility.
