Credit Union Supports Fisher House Foundation the Month of November

In honor of Veterans Day, TruWest Credit Union® is raising money this November to support military families, with proceeds benefiting the Fisher House Foundation.

Since 1990, the Fisher House Foundation has assisted military and veterans’ families with lodging and transportation costs. They provide a “home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers.

After being nearly fatally injured in 2012, Ben’s wife Griselle admits that, not until arriving at the San Antonio Fisher House weeks later, did she “[see] the light for the first time. I knew everything was going to be alright. When we were together as a family, that’s when the real healing began.”
