Alabama Media Group, home of and The Birmingham News, will present a special holiday concert featuring multiplatinum-selling recording artist Sara Evans, one of the most compelling and authentic vocalists in country music, on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at 7 p.m. at the historic Alabama Theatre in downtown Birmingham.

Evans’ concert will feature songs from her just-announced holiday album At Christmas, which will be released on Nov. 17, 2014, but is currently available now for pre-order exclusively through Walmart at

This special Alabama Theatre concert will be one of a limited number of Evans’ holiday-themed performances this year. Tickets for the Alabama Theatre show will go on sale Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at 10 a.m. via Ticket prices will be $75, $45 and $30. All seats reserved.

Sara Evans lives in the Birmingham, Alabama, area with her children and her husband, Jay Barker, quarterback of the 1992 National Championship University of Alabama football team, former NFL quarterback and current radio sportscaster.

“I am so excited to get the chance to perform some of my holiday songs in my hometown for friends, neighbors, and fans,” Evans said. “It is going to be a very special night.”

Befitting the family-focused holiday season, Evans’ new holiday album At Christmas features her daughters, Olivia and Audrey, singing with their mother on the track "12 Days of Christmas." The 10-track album also includes some of the most well-known and celebrated holiday songs including “Silent Night,” “Oh Holy Night,” and “Winter Wonderland.”
