Formedix Transform for Rave Achieves 100% Integration with Medidata Rave
(PRWEB) October 28, 2014 -- Users of Transform for Rave, one of the latest additions to the Formedix Transform series, can now enjoy 100% integration with Medidata Rave.
A continuous process of enhancement by the Formedix Consultancy team means that customers can build and deploy Rave EDC from our Universal Study Design tool in its entirety, as opposed to the previous figure of 97%.
“This new release of Transform for Rave now supports Lab Variable Mappings, Coder Configuration, Coder Supplemental Terms and Coder Component Terms,” said Greg Blincow, Consultancy Team Lead at Formedix.
“It also now supports electronic Patient Reported Outcome (ePRO) fields, which allow patients to enter data into configured electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) through the patient cloud device. By providing settings in relation to this functionality, Formedix Transform for Rave customers can build and deploy their entire study through the system. It’s a small improvement that offers our customers significant time and cost savings.”
“The previous release of Transform for Rave allowed 97% integration with Medidata Rave, so an increase of 3% might not sound like much,” said Formedix CEO Mark Wheeldon. “But it means a lot to us to offer that 100% integration. It shows our commitment to giving our users maximum efficiency on their trials, and it shows that we’ll go that extra mile to make our integrations as tight as they possibly can be.”
Transform for Rave is an integration between the Formedix Data Acquisition Design tool, Origin Study Modeller, and Medidata’s EDC system, Rave. It allows users to visualize Rave eCRFs prior to study build, validate study design against Rave-specific requirements, build 100% of a Rave study including all edit checks, and automatically deploy study designs into Rave.
