There is a clear trend in consumers around the world towards organic living. Liquid Investments provide insight into why organic food is no longer considered a niche market, and the reason behind its move towards the mainstream.

The United Nations highlights Neem as a "tree for solving global problems."

Diogo Mendes, country analyst for Liquid Investments based in Fortaleza, Brazil, considers “increased health awareness, higher incomes and rising recognition of the environmental benefits from organic farming to be the major reasons for the recent prosperity and changes in the highly attractive market of organic foods."

In the United States alone, in the five years to 2018, the global organics market is projected to increase to US$ 66.2 billion from the current US$ 33.8 billion value.

According to a 2014 study by the UK Soil Association, organic farming has a positive affect on the quality of the food we eat. Helen Browning, the organization’s Chief Executive, stated there were three main reasons for this - Organic foods contain higher levels of antioxidants, lower levels of cadmium, nitrate and nitrite and there are no trace of toxic pesticides in production.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has stated that organic farming also has great potential in mitigating climate change. The main reasons for this are both the reduced environmental impact of organic fertilization compared to mineral fertilization, and the increased uptakes of CO2 from the atmosphere.

Given the increasing importance of the organics market, Liquid Investments have expanded their projects to include Neem.

“The tree for solving global problems,” as described by the United Nations, is not only an effective organic pesticide, but also a highly successful organic fertilizer.

A diverse range of products can be derived from the neem tree with all utilized across the agricultural, medical and cosmetic industries.

Liquid Investments have followed the organic market’s shift into the mainstream, and have focused their projects on asset secure, diversified and organic investment opportunities.
