AutoTex Pink Wins “Ad- Best Use of Graphic” for Innovative Infographic

AutoTex PINK Windshield Wipers’ creative "Why AutoTex PINK?" infographic is being awarded the “Ad- Best Use of Graphic” by the automotive aftermarket product industry’s Care Council Women’s Board this fall. AutoTex PINK will receive its award during the Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX), held in Las Vegas in November. This is the second year in a row WEXCO/ AutoTex Wipers is recognized for its fresh voice and unique product offering; last year the company was awarded in the same category for their innovative “Break The Mold” campaign.

“Winning this award two years in a row is exciting for the AutoTex Team,” said Paula Lombard, WEXCO Industries President and founder of AutoTex PINK. “I think it speaks volumes that we are being recognized in the same category again; it means that we are making an impact in the aftermarket. Five years ago, we set out on a journey to “Wipe out Breast Cancer” and to be a different, fresh voice in the automotive aftermarket and the wiper industry. This award and the increasing demand for AutoTex PINK wiper blades have been a product of strong partnerships and a creative and hard working team.”

Sales of AutoTex Pink continue to support women in the United States and Canada 365 days a year. Each of the first two years of the AutoTex Pink program, WEXCO raised enough funds from their sales to be recognized as a Bronze Level sponsor. In 2012, sales of AutoTex Pink doubled total donations to achieve a Silver Level donation. Last year (2013) brought a Gold Level sponsorship and now, in 2014, after new brand strategies and growth, AutoTex Pink is hoping to “Go Gold” again.

The "Why AutoTex Pink ?" infographic will be displayed in large format at AAPEX Booth 847 for all to see.
