Julianne M. Morath, RN, MS, currently serves as the President/CEO of the Hospital Quality Institute (HQI). Her keynote discussion will explore what constitutes High Reliable Organizations and also offer tips, suggestions and strategies for dealing with the frantic pace of health care reform.
Thorton Kirby, is President and CEO of the South Carolina Hospital Association. Mr. Kirby will present the evolution of quality and safety work in South Carolina hospitals and their experience with The Joint Commission to help hospitals transform their organizations into highly reliable systems of care.
Erin DuPree, MD, Chief Medical Officer and Vice President, Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare leads a hands-on session focused on Robust Process Improvement (RPI) methodology.
