Dr. Skylar Gemmer of Life Force Chiropractic Speaks to Groups About Healthy, Stress-Free Living This Fall
Auburn, WA (PRWEB) October 27, 2014 -- Dr. Skylar Gemmer of Life Force Chiropractic is now speaking to organizations and groups throughout the community to share lessons on stress management, disease prevention and healthy living.
So far, Dr. Gemmer has visited the Green River Montessori School on Sept. 27, Auburn Youth Resources on Oct. 9, and Pacific Wire Distributing on Oct. 23, with future talks to be scheduled in the upcoming weeks at other local companies, schools and non-profit organizations.
Dr. Gemmer, Clinic Director and chiropractor, says the decision was made to speak out about healthy living habits because of an uptick in health problems throughout the community and the country.
"We live in one of the sickest countries in the world, and I don't want to see the people in my community be average when it comes to their health," Dr. Gemmer explains. "When more than 80% of Americans die of a lifestyle-related health issue, it's more important than ever to show people why they need to be vigilant about their own health."
Dr. Gemmer has been assisted in his talks with help from Dr. Rustin Schreiner, associate chiropractor, and Christina Rau, office manager, he says.
"We decided to start bringing valuable health information to companies in our community because although people know they should eat right and exercise, most people have no idea what it takes to be healthy and prevent disease," Dr. Gemmer says. "We know how to help people get well and stay well."
And so far, feedback from the community has been highly positive, according to Dr. Gemmer.
"Everywhere we have presented has given us feedback that the information was extremely valuable, and they want our doctors to come back for another visit," he says. "We're happy that we're able to empower the community to live longer, healthier lives."
