BrightPlanet® and Swan Island Networks Announces Partnership to Offer Customizable Data and Security Intelligence Dashboards
Sioux Falls, South Dakota (PRWEB) October 28, 2014 -- BrightPlanet and Swan Island Networks are excited to announce a joint technology partnership to offer a customizable data and security intelligence dashboard for customers. The partnership allows both companies to leverage each other’s complementary technologies.
BrightPlanet will be utilizing its harvesting technology to collect and structure publicly available data from the Web to create new data feeds and channels for direct integration into Swan Island Networks’ TIES for Microsoft CityNext and TX360 agile situational intelligence product offerings. The partnership will open up additional channels and analytic opportunities to Swan Island Networks’ public sector and enterprise customers.
The TX360 platform, which also powers TIES for Microsoft CityNext, brings together thousands of unique data sets from disparate sources to support analysts and security personnel with agile situational intelligence capabilities, including:
• Real-time information aggregation through the use of dynamic Intelligence Channels, which can be filtered, merged, and customized to deliver the most relevant information and alerts to each customer.
• Customizable dashboards that provide comprehensive visualization on maps and synthesize critical security information from a variety of internal and external sources and assets.
• Social media monitoring services, providing targeted intelligence to leaders and teams about their brands, locations, individuals, and topics of interest.
• Smart Alerting, including the ability to segment events to issue Notices, Alerts and Alarms, capable of notifying key personnel in real time with text messages, emails or phone calls whenever a severe event matches the filtering settings they have selected.
“The partnership between Swan Island Networks and BrightPlanet just made sense and will be extremely valuable for both companies, and more importantly for our customers and Swan Island’s customers. We are excited to bring additional value to Swan Island Networks’ customers through our harvesting technology. Additionally, we also look forward to utilizing Swan Island Networks’ dashboards for our customers as a means to improve situational awareness and critical infrastructure security, which will create value for everyone,” explained BrightPlanet Vice President of Business Development, Tyson Johnson.
BrightPlanet will offer both standard and customizable data channels for Swan Island Networks’ customers, that will be available via a simple web interface and can be deployed without IT requirements. BrightPlanet and Swan Island Networks anticipate the first channels will be available for use in Early November.
