Elbert Guillory Urges Black Voters “SEND HAGAN HOME”
Charlotte, North Carolina (PRWEB) October 28, 2014 -- On the heels of targeting Democrat Mary Landrieu in battleground Louisiana, Elbert Guillory partners with national Super PAC based in North Carolina, Our America, to release a new television ad urging black North Carolina voters to send Senator Kay Hagan home.
Our America’s new ad features rising Republican star Guillory encouraging the 95 percent of black voters who carried Hagan to victory in 2008 to look at the facts and strongly consider whether another four years of Hagan is consistent with their economic needs and cultural values.
"The real victims in this equation are the good people of the struggling black communities. We have decided to point the arrow of truth up to North Carolina.” stated Guillory.
Our America’s new television ad titled, “Send Hagan Home” will run on several television networks in Wake and Mecklenburg counties and follows the first ad released in March that highlighted Hagan’s failed promises surrounding Obamacare.
Torin Kelly, a spokesperson for Our America said, “Hagan is counting on African American voters to turnout in large numbers to again propel her to victory, but under her reign the unemployment rate of African Americans has risen to 17.3 percent, more than two and a half times that of whites, while Hagan’s own net worth has increased almost 40 percent since taking office. There is no denying that there are critical economic issues within the black community which need to be brought to surface, and corrected."
The “Send Hagan Home” campaign will also include a heavy micro-targeted online media buy beginning now to capture the early voting and will run through the election.
Our America’s latest ad campaign follows the organization’s national launch in April that included a series of billboards illustrating Hagan’s apparent unwillingness to part ways with the ultra- liberal leadership of the Senate and television ads in Minnesota targeting Senator Al Franken.
