Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 29, 2014
The Palm Beach Hedge Fund Association (PBHFA) is a year old, and they have something to celebrate! After expanding to serve hundreds of hedge fund and professional investor members throughout South Florida, the organization will be hosting a one-year anniversary party to launch its series of seasonal monthly meet-&-greet gatherings across Palm Beach County and South Florida.
A casual, relaxed event, the anniversary party features a cash bar and will be held on November 20, 2014, from 6 p.m. To 9 p.m. at ER Bradley’s in West Palm Beach. All financial professionals are welcomed and encouraged to come out, relax and network.
“We're very excited to begin our second year,” said PBHFA co-founder Douglas DeRosa. “Catalysts at play in South Florida like an extremely favorable tax environment, abundant sunshine and continued infrastructure growth make it the perfect environment to foster the growth not only of hedge fund managers and firms, but for all financial service providers.
“At the PBHFA, we're helping to enable this growth and development by creating a platform where financial service professionals can gather in an informal environment to connect on both professional and personal levels,” he said. “We believe that with this foundation, we can all enjoy continued success and growth into 2015 and beyond, thanks to these important catalysts which are here to stay.”
The PBHFA was founded to connect the diverse financial community of Palm Beach County and South Florida into a unified group, providing networking and educational opportunities for members and select guests as well as a forum for mutually beneficial deal making. In addition to helping investors learn about active opportunities and meet hedge fund managers in an informal, no pressure, educational environment.
The Palm Beach Hedge Fund Association firmly believes that Palm Beach County can become the hedge fund capital of the world, and aims to help achieve this goal by improving the perception of the hedge fund and financial business sector to both investors and the general public in the Palm Beach region and throughout South Florida. Their mission is to become the go-to forum for idea-sharing, socializing and dissemination of information on Palm Beach and South Florida for financial professionals who have or plan to domicile here.
“My European investor base actively seeks unique and diversified investment opportunities on a global scale. The informal and personalized nature of the PBHFA provides the ideal platform to introduce South Florida’s growing hedge fund and investment community to those seeking to deploy capital in this highly ideal investment domicile,” added director Robert Asaturyan.
Membership in the PBHFA is open to all hedge fund investors, managers and professionals, financial traders, academics, service providers and others involved in or interested in any aspect of the financial business.
