Wolverine Advanced Materials Announces New Global Vice President of Operations
Dearborn, MI (PRWEB) October 27, 2014 -- Joseph Conroy has been announced as Wolverine Advanced Materials’ (Wolverine) new Vice President of Global Operations. Grant Beard, CEO of Wolverine, made the announcement.
Conroy will be responsible for the management of global manufacturing sites in United States, Germany and China. In his new role, Conroy will be responsible for developing and executing Wolverine’s global manufacturing strategy, institutionalizing best practices and disciplines and developing our manufacturing capabilities and staff.
“Joe has broad based expertise in operations with over 25 years of experience in automotive and non-automotive companies,” Beard said of Conroy. He continued, “We are glad to have him on board and feel confident that his vast knowledge and experience leading manufacturing operations and teams will instill manufacturing excellence into our facilities across the globe and take our plants to the next level.”
Previous to joining Wolverine, Conroy was Vice President of Operations at Brooks Automation, manufacturer of automation, vacuum, and instrumentation equipment, responsible for five sites across three countries. Conroy’s long career also includes experiences at Energy Conversion Devices, American Axle and Manufacturing, and General Motors. Conroy has an MBA from Wayne State University and a Mechanical Engineering degree from General Motors Institute.
