SideChef, the step-by-step cooking app that rocketed into iTunes’ Top 10 Food & Drinks apps in the first week of its iPhone launch, is hosting “Festive Falls Flavors” at Surfas Culinary District’s Test Kitchen at 8777 Washington Blvd, Culver City on November 1, 11 AM to 1 PM, to demonstrate the app’s top Thanksgiving sides.
With the big feast ahead, SideChef blogger and manager of community development and author of The Curious Fig, Michelle Wagner, will be leading the demonstration with Megan Westerby, SideChef’s vice president of marketing, to bring attention to innovative side dishes and beverage options that take Thanksgiving dinner to new heights.
“Holiday cooking can be really stressful, if it’s your first time trying a dish or cooking for a large group,” says Westerby. “We want to bring our step-by-step methodology to life and give people a chance to take the stress out of Thanksgiving."
SideChef has been praised for navigating cooks of all levels through step-by-step visual and audio directions of thousands of recipes from the nation’s top chefs, bloggers and foodies.
