‘Best of Long Island’ 10th Annual Event Includes Three Nominations for North Shore Eye Care
Smithtown, New York (PRWEB) October 30, 2014 -- Leading eye surgeon Jeffrey Martin, MD and North Shore Eye Care have once again been nominated in three categories in this year’s ‘Best of L.I. 2015’ event, the largest business and professional awards program in the history of Long Island, according to Dr. Martin, medical director of North Shore Eye Care.
North Shore Eye Care is one of 15-18 local businesses and people nominated in the category of both Best Lasik Surgery Practice and Best Ophthalmology Practice. The Best of Long Island contest is conducted each year by the Long Island Press newspaper. More than 1 million people across Long Island vote each year, which turns out to be the largest participation in the event’s 10-year history. 2015 marks the 10th Annual Best Of LI Contest and with this milestone, comes some exciting changes. This year there will be only one winner per category. As a result the 2015 Best of LI Contest will be more competitive, exciting and EXCLUSIVE.
The voting period is October 1 through December 15, 2014. During this time votes are accepted one vote per category per day per IP address at bestof.longislandpress.com. At the end of the voting period, the nominee with the most votes in each respective category will be awarded the distinction of Bethpage Best of LI 2015. If a national company receives the most votes they will be awarded a national title and the local company with the most votes in that category will be awarded the Bethpage Best of LI 2015 distinction.
