Intended for military command, control, and communications applications, PCM8015 has been tested for both MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD 461F standard. MIL-STD-810 standards require testing for shocks, vibration, humidity, drops, altitude, rain, sand and dust exposure, and temperature extremes. MIL-STD-461 standards require testing and approval for EMI and EMC, for size/dimension, weight, power requirements and configuration. Militaries require rapid, reliable and durable technology to guarantee that failures do not happen while operations are in progress. With its military standard compliance, the PCM8015 can survive wild temperature ranging from -4 ºF to 140 ºF. It also boasts of anti shock and vibration resistance, fully IP67 rated rugged enclosure that increases durability and provides longer life while reducing down time.
PCM8015 features the latest low power consumption high performance Intel Atom Dual-Core D510 1.66GHz processor and utilize the ICH8M chipset. This rugged embedded PC comes standard with one on board DDR2 SO-DIMM system memory and one 64GB SSD along with dual Ethernet, two COM ports, one USB 2.0 port, and a VGA port to accommodate a wide range of connectivity requirements. Moreover, the PCM8015 has equipped with a 15 inch high image quality projected capacitive or 5-wire resistive type touch screen monitor, supports up to 1024 x 768 pixels resolution, offers 16.2 million colors, and 350 nits high brightness level with a viewing angle of 160(H) 140(V) degrees.
In addition to panel mounting, PCM8015 is compliant with VESA mounting standards. Standard VESA 75mm and 100mm spaced mounting holes are available on the rear for easy mounting to any fixture or wall which enables users to run demanding applications in the field, floor or office environment.
