NetNumber Appoints Al-Noor Ramji Advisor to Board of Directors

Mr. Ramji is the chief strategy officer of Calypso Technology, Inc., responsible for corporate strategy development and execution.

Mr. Ramji has held a number of senior executive positions at global companies leading technology transformation. Previous to Calypso Technology, he was the executive vice president and general manager at Mysis Banking, chief executive officer of BT Innovate and Design, chief information officer and chief technology officer of BT Group plc, as well as chief information officer and chief e-commerce officer at Qwest Communications. Mr. Ramji has also served as chief information officer at UBS (then SBC) and Dresdner Bank and global head of operations at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Ramji is currently on the board of directors at Virtusa and Virtual Clarity. He serves as advisor to the board of directors for iSoftStone and Apigee.
His track record of successfully leveraging IT to achieve business objectives has won him numerous industry awards, including the CIO 100 Award, CIO Insight IT Leader of the Year 2009 and the British Computer Society CIO of the Year. Mr. Ramji is a certified financial analyst, and holds a bachelor of science in Electronics from the University of London.
