New Port Angeles Venue Celebrates Grand Opening with a Red Carpet Event
Port Angeles, WA (PRWEB) October 27, 2014 -- Port Angeles Cabaret (PA Cabaret), the vaudeville performance troupe with a mission of social-giving, will celebrate the official grand opening of The Metta Room, 132 E. Front Street, with a classic Hollywood speakeasy-inspired evening of live burlesque, comedy acts, live music and special performances, Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. Discounted tickets are available online now through Oct. 31 for $10 and through Nov. 14 for $15 at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/884568. “Audiences can expect a night of elaborate costumery, stunning choreography and sultry burlesque performance,” said PA Cabaret producer and performer Siouxzie Q. “’Kat House ~ Feline Fine Burlesque’ is a dynamite show that is sure to dazzle and to bring the glamour of a classic Hollywood speakeasy to Port Angeles.”
PA Cabaret was formed with the sole purpose of benefitting charitable causes. In October 2014, they have already raised over $1500 for Olympic Peninsula cancer support organizations in collaboration with Noxious Oxalis’s “Bosom Buddies” event, and also hosted benefits for Port Angeles High School's Performing Arts program with their “Banking on Burlesque” events. The PA Cabaret mission statement includes: “We believe that we are all made of the same energy and therefore are all really one….We feel we can enjoy this time/space reality while opening hearts and minds and creating lasting change.”
