Austin, Texas (PRWEB) October 29, 2014
Olea Networks announced today the availability of the ezLINC application, an IP PBX “office-in-a-box” solution that transforms any LINCWorks smart gateway into an VoIP server. The proprietary technology enables any LINCWorks device to create an ad hoc hotspot for real and softphones—even without a live internet connection or cellular reception. With such connectivity, ezLINC is also able to connect to external IP PBX servers for communication between the LINCWorks device and the outside world.
ezLINC is the latest addition to the Olea Networks family of hardware, software, and cloud-based services. The LINCWorks suite already offers customizable cellular, Wi-Fi, and mesh units in a variety of form factors, as well as a proprietary remote monitoring and control software infrastructure that simplifies system design, deployment and management. Olea Networks designed ezLINC with the notion of furthering the capabilities of LINCWorks devices, to continue offering customers the most unique and comprehensive mobile networking solutions on the market.
The LINCWorks product line also offers flexible power management solutions enabling a full day of power, including an optional second battery to expand usage time up to 30 hours and a solar panel for continuous operation. The ability to charge mobile devices through the LINCWorks unit—combined with the new PBX capabilities of ezLINC—means that reliable connectivity can be provided to meet a variety of business needs.
“We are excited about the many possibilities of Olea Networks’ portable wireless infrastructure,” says Scott Ingram, President, Ingram Technologies. “Our tablet computing and mobile solutions combined with Olea’s ezLINC product provide our government, construction, police, fire and emergency management services customers with more effective and robust communication capabilities in the toughest environments.”
For first responders, the solution can enable secure voice/video/data connectivity on a private, portable wireless infrastructure available at the point of first response. The solution can also be deployed to create a secure, closed network with full campus coverage for vehicle and inventory tracking and communication, as well as in countless other applications that rely on a secure, private network with poor connectivity.
