At the Microsoft TechEd Europe conference, BlueStripe Software announced that it has reached Microsoft Azure Certified status. BlueStripe now offers a Microsoft Azure Certified version of FactFinder, its Application-Aware Infrastructure Performance Monitoring solution. Azure customers can now deploy FactFinder on an Azure virtual machine, providing a cloud-based option for application and infrastructure performance management.
“BlueStripe offers complete application visibility for public and hybrid cloud environments,” said Chris Neal, CEO and co-founder of BlueStripe Software. “Bringing FactFinder to Azure is a great addition for our customers.”
BlueStripe FactFinder gives IT Operations teams a complete solution for managing distributed application performance. FactFinder dynamically discovers and maps application topologies, regardless of platform or system, across the data center and through the cloud. Now with the new offering IT Operations teams can take advantage of the cost savings and flexibility of cloud deployment for FactFinder.
“Organizations are moving more and more applications to the cloud,” said Garth Fort, General Manager of Enterprise Partners, Microsoft. “Critical applications require effective performance management running on the robust IaaS platform that Azure provides. By bringing solutions like FactFinder to Azure, BlueStripe is expanding the options available to customers who need to manage service delivery in a cloud-centric world.”
The Microsoft Azure Certified version of BlueStripe FactFinder can be deployed in the Azure Marketplace within minutes.
BlueStripe’s FactFinder automatically discovers, maps, and monitors all business transactions running within the datacenter and across the cloud. FactFinder measures performance, hop-by-hop, everywhere that transactions go, across tiers, across platforms, and across architectures – even into virtual machines, public, private, and hybrid cloud, as well as third party services. When performance or availability problems occur, FactFinder follows the slow or hung transaction right to the problem component, and then drills down the server stack to determine why the problem occurred. The BlueStripe Performance Center for System Center delivers FactFinder’s capabilities as an integral part of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.
