Entreda today announced that Sid Yenamandra, the company’s CEO and co-founder will speak at the Technology Tools for Today (T3) Enterprise Conference, on November 12th in Atlanta, Georgia. In a session titled “What to expect in a cybersecurity examination,” Mr. Yenamandra will explain how registered broker-dealers and financial advisers can prepare themselves for the latest SEC/FINRA compliance audit examinations which will focus on technology and cybersecurity.

The SEC and FINRA have identified cybersecurity as a new priority for compliance examinations beginning in 2014. In an effort to assess gaps in cybersecurity, and identify future audit and examination priorities, the SEC’s Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations (OCIE) will be conducting survey examinations of more than 50 registered broker-dealers and registered investment advisers. During his presentation, Mr. Yenamandra will discuss specific items that the OCIE has indicated it will address in the cybersecurity examinations, and five simple steps proactive financial services firms can take to be prepared.

“We are delighted to be part of the T3 Enterprise Conference for the first time,” said Mr. Yenamandra. “This is the place where leading technology vendors, consultants, and thought leaders come together to tackle the challenges facing broker-dealers and financial enterprises head on.”

“We are pleased to have Entreda at T3 Enterprise this year,” said Joel Bruckenstein, co-chair of the T3 Enterprise Conference. “Entreda’s Unify for Financial Advisor software, which automates cybersecurity and compliance rule verification, addresses a very real need. With the ever present threat of cybercrime and complex regulatory requirements, advisors can save themselves a lot of time and worry by using tools such as these that help automate their workflow.” Entreda will be demonstrating its Unify for Financial Advisors software in booth #118.
