The Boxing Club of La Jolla Announces New Ownership
La Jolla, Calif. (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- The Boxing Club (TBC) of La Jolla, a premier health and fitness club, announced today that Artem Sharoshkin joins Patrick Van Schoote as a new co-owner and operating partner of the company.
Sharoshkin will take over the operational and management functions as the company’s new managing director, while Van Schoote will continue lending his business acumen and vision to the company growth.
Until recently Sharoshkin served as the Training Director at TBC, managing a team of 14 trainers and aligning the training, management and sales aspects of operations. In addition to his training and management career, Sharoshkin is a former US National Muay Thai Champion, and was named one of the best welterweight fighters in North America.
“I have worked and trained at the club for the last 10 years. It has become my second home and family. So when the opportunity presented itself, I did not hesitate to step up and put my skills to help create the best fitness experience in San Diego,” said Sharoshkin. “I will be leading the best champion-producing team of Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu and Boxing coaches as well as Pilates and cardio training instructors in San Diego. Management of TBC would let me combine my two great passions – fight arts and healthy living,” he added.
The Boxing Club was established in 1999 with a belief that in a safe environment fight arts can be an effective and fun platform for overall fitness and health. With that in mind, TBC brought together the best fight and fitness instructors in the industry to create a unique, rigorous and exhilarating fitness program based on fight arts.
From the first steps the new owner team of Sharoshkin and Van Schoote has committed to creating a dynamic welcoming atmosphere, began facility renovations, optimized the fitness programs and brought customer service into focus.
