Filament Games Launches Titles in the Amplify Market
(PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- Filament Games, developer of PLEx Life Science game-based curriculum, announced late last week that three of its learning game titles are now available to download via the Amplify Market, the K-12 app store included on the tablet-based Amplify System.
The game titles released to the Amplify Market include Bongo Balance, Planet Mechanic, and Dr. Guts. Bongo Balance teaches students about chemical balancing of equations and settling feuds between tribal monkey clans by adding and subtracting fruit equations. Planet Mechanic focuses on teaching planets and their specific properties by allowing students to alter a planet’s core attributes of atmosphere, tilt, rotation, and moon. In Dr. Guts, students assist a strange and curious doctor in analyzing the systems of the human body and manipulating how different organs work.
The Amplify System was released in the March 2013, and is used by over 26,000 students nationwide. Filament Games’ titles join numerous others in the Amplify Market which currently includes free access to more than $55 worth of educational applications and games.
