The latest release of Blueforce Mobile Punch, EPAY’s mobile time tracking application, contains new workforce management and compliance capabilities to help companies better manage their workforce.

EPAY Systems (http://www.EPAYsystems.com), the leading cloud-based time and labor management provider for employers with a distributed workforce, today announced the release of new features to its Blueforce Mobile Punch time tracking application. The latest version of Mobile Punch adds new workforce management functionality as well as compliance and lawsuit protection features, making it easier to track and manage time and attendance for remote employees and scattered work crews. EPAY’s Mobile Punch app with GPS is available for use on iPhone® and Android® smartphones as well as iPad® and Android tablets.

Improved Workforce Management

New workforce management features include bar code and QR code scanner, PTO request and approval as well as task tracking and time allocation. Using these new features, companies with distributed workforces can:

  • Quickly clock-in/out or change jobs and tasks via a simple scan of a bar code or QR code
  • Streamline the PTO request and approval process
  • Improve job cost analysis

Increased Compliance and Lawsuit Protection

To give employers added compliance and lawsuit protection, EPAY has built a unique safeguard into the Mobile Punch clock-out procedure. This feature helps employers prevent fraudulent Workers’ Comp claims.

Moreover, the new digital signature feature adds an additional level of verification for task completion or clock-out at the end of a shift, helping to prevent time theft and improve audit trails. The digital signature feature also addresses state Electronic Visit Verification requirements for home health aides.

“Mobility is on the rise, and EPAY is committed to evolving our products in response to our customers' needs,” according to EPAY Systems CEO, Frank Ruffolo. “With the new features, Mobile Punch is more than just a portable time clock; it’s a workforce management tool that makes it even easier for our customers to manage their distributed workforces.”

About Mobile Punch

Blueforce Mobile Punch captures clock-in/out date and time as well as GPS location so employers know their employees are exactly where they should be. Punches made outside an authorized worksite are immediately flagged for manager review.

The Mobile Punch application can be configured for use by single employees, work crews, and/or managers. Additionally, managers can classify workers by location, task, or work ticket. Time pressed managers can also take advantage of the one-click group clock-in/out option.

Mobile Punch can be used in combination with any of EPAY’s data collection devices including biometric time clocks, telephone time tracking system and web punch option.
