The new hires will reinforce its Finance, Acquisitions, and Investor Relations department. Nick Montague will head the Finance Department while Derek Uldricks and Samantha Randant will bolster Acquisitions and Investor Relations, respectively.
Nick Montague brings over ten years of real estate experience to the Finance Department. Nick has under written more than $3,000,000,000 in commercial real estate loans, acquisitions and restructurings. Nick has experience on a wide variety of commercial real estate properties across the country, with specific focus on underwriting, pro forma analysis, valuations, complex joint ventures, capital structures, and multi-tiered waterfalls. His background includes $500,000,000 in underwriting analysis for a large CMBS lender and commercial real estate development group on ground up mixed-use and office properties. He received a B.S. from California State University, Long Beach with a double major in finance and international business.
Derek Uldricks brings over ten years of experience in business development, real estate finance, and construction management experience. He began his career at JBT Incorporated, a San Diego based construction firm, where he managed a group of employees and aided in the implementation of designed floor plans. He then joined Criterion Mortgage Corporation, a boutique loan originator, as a financial analyst where he provided debt underwriting and loan document review. Derek then oversaw new business development, acquisitions, and client relations at a national commercial real estate consulting firm. During his tenure, Derek has consulted on over $200,000,000 of commercial real estate. Derek graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Economics, a concentration in finance, and a minor in Accounting.
Samantha Randant has more than five years of experience in real estate. Her real estate career began at California Title Company, where she worked as a title representative. Samantha worked with some of the top real estate agents in the country closing multi-million dollar residential real estate transactions across the nation. Following California Title Company, Samantha joined BluFi lending, a direct mortgage lender. At BluFi lending, she was able to learn the direct lending aspect of residential real estate. Samantha then brought her transaction and customer service experience to a national real estate consulting firm where she focused on new Business Development. While focusing on new business development and client relations, Samantha assisted investors, in both distressed and non-distressed assets, decide on the best course of action for maximizing the return on their investments based on their individual financial scenarios. Samantha graduated with high distinction from the University of California, San Diego earning her B.A. by double majoring in Communications and Literature.
