Chicago Music Exchange Releases Epic 'Batman & Robin' Video Just In Time for Halloween
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 30, 2014 -- Most guitar stores are doing gear demos online. There's a pretty standard formula: here's the guitar, these are the various settings, here's how it sounds. These gear demos are simple and informative and certainly have a place in the industry. Chicago Music Exchange, as usual, is breaking all of those rules with what can only be described as epic gear cinema. Why make gear demos when you can make gear films?
In 2012, Chicago Music Exchange released the video "Batman Goes Crazy in A Guitar Store" on their popular YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/chicagomusicexchange. The video featured guitar salesman, Joel Bauman, ad libbing much of the film with funny quips that are still referenced by CME fans both in-store and on social media. Bauman claims that it's not uncommon for customers to ask him for 'Batman's autograph'.
This week, CME released a hilarious followup to 2012's Batman video with "Batman & Robin Join Forces at Chicago Music Exchange". Joel Bauman returns as Batman with CME newcomer Andrew Wittler as Robin in a storyline that takes viewers on a virtual tour through the Chicago Music Exchange guitar showroom, drum shop, repair shop, shipping department, offices, and film studio. The performances are impressive, the punchlines are plentiful and the production value is seriously high. View the new video at http://www.chicagomusicexchange.com/batman
This Batman parody (with a guitar store twist) includes scenes of Robin calling up "The Flash" for a expedited shipping, Batman ignoring safety protocols in the CME Repair Shop and a guitar demo where Batman explains why the power attenuator on a Tone King Falcon amp comes in handy: "When you wanna rock out with your cape out and you don't wanna wake up the neighbors, 'cause you're playing a little loud in the Bat Cave..."
Keep an eye on Chicago Music Exchange for more gear demos and short films in the future. You may be shocked, but you will not be disappointed.
