ShoreGroup is pleased to announce that Judith Brown has been appointed Vice President of Human Resources. Judith has held the position of Human Resources Manager at ShoreGroup since 2007, and has been instrumental in guiding the company’s human resource policies and processes during a period of unprecedented company growth. In her new capacity, Judith will report directly to Robert Kennedy, ShoreGroup’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
During the past seven years, Judith has transformed ShoreGroup’s HR team from a department focused on the daily tactical functions of managing payroll and the onboarding of new employees, to one with an increasingly strategic role by bringing the needs and aspirations of employees to the forefront of company thinking and matching that to ShoreGroup’s success. Going forward, the HR team will continue in a strategic role under Judith’s leadership, and its priorities will expand from managing corporate benefits and recruiting to launching automated employee enablement and management applications, containing healthcare costs while maintaining competitive benefits, and implementing programs that improve employee communications and job satisfaction.

Before assuming HR management responsibility at ShoreGroup, Judith held the position of HR Manager at A.K. Stamping, Inc. Prior to that, she gained experience in progressive HR positions at Prudential Insurance Co., and was employed at International Bauxite Association, an agency of the United Nations. Judith earned a Master of Science degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and has held the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation since 2002. She is also an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
