Independent Hip Hop artist R.e.a.P just released two singles this month in collaboration with fellow artist Marino, a member of the 2 M.C. Music Group.
The singles, "Screaming My Name” and “Boogie Down Bronx,” are now distributed globally via iTunes, Amazon and other online music marketplaces.
"Screaming My Name" features collaboration between R.e.a.P and Marino, along with vocals by Auston Martin.
“Screaming My Name is a seductive song for the ladies which is sure to please,” said R.e.a.P. “It’s a very sexual, smooth, hip hop and R&B song that you can play for your lover or in the club.”
The single “Boogie Down Bronx” is the hip-hop duo’s homage to their hometown.
“The Bronx hasn't had an anthem in a while, and we wanted to create hot new rap music,” R.e.a.P said. “Our single is fun, aggressive and energetic with a hip hop and rock sound. It reflects the struggles and perseverance of the 99%.”

Marino and R.e.a.P are long-time friends who grew up together. For their recent collaboration, each artist wrote his own lyrics, with R.e.a.P doing the mixing and a majority of the production. The singles were recorded at Midtown studio JAMBOX Entertainment.
The release of their two singles represents the first collaborative project for R.e.a.P and Marino.
“We were hanging out one day and started playing some music and came up with Screaming My Name,” R.e.a.P said. “We wrote our separate parts, put it all together, then got Auston Martin to sing the hook. We’re thrilled to be able to share our new club song and NYC hip hop anthem with the world.”
Cover art for both singles was created by Artist Smezs Lorinzer.
