"Champions of Industry" with Host Jimmy Johnson Set to Produce a New Segment on Robotic Surgery
(PRWEB) October 31, 2014 -- Jimmy Johnson is set to host the next installment of "Champions of Industry." This one involves a segment on robotic surgery. As the medical community becomes increasingly more technical hospitals across the country are now using robotic surgery techniques in a bid to remove the occurrence of human error from any and all future surgeries.
Surgeons can only do so much on their own and the use of robotic systems is allowing them to improve upon their capabilities in the operating room. Even surgeries that are minimally invasive are benefiting from the technology that makes robotic surgery possible.
"Champions of Industry" is set to showcase some of the technologies that have changed robotic surgery since the practice became widespread. Systems controlled by computers are being used in operating rooms to help surgeons control the movements of a robot's arms. This gives doctors the ability to perform surgeries remotely from virtually any location in the entire world.
