8,500 Ed-Tech Professionals to Convene at 35th Annual Conference
Orlando, Fla. (PRWEB) November 03, 2014 -- Thousands of educators from across the country will have an opportunity to explore emergent technologies, cutting-edge programs and a highly innovative ed-tech marketplace at FETC 2015, the largest national educational technology conference held on the east coast.
FETC’s 35th annual conference will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 20-23, and will feature dynamic speakers, exhibitors and events designed to provide PK-12 educators and administrators with an unparalleled opportunity to explore different technologies while increasing their familiarity with the latest devices, hardware, software and successful strategies for student technology integration.
“More than 8,500 educators annually make FETC the cornerstone of their professional development plan,” said Patrick Gallagher, Event Director, Education Events at 1105 Media. “We are so proud that we’ve been able to establish FETC as one of the most comprehensive and progressive ed-tech conferences in the country.”
FETC 2015’s schedule will feature more than 400 expert-led sessions – keynote, concurrent, BYOD, poster, aspire and IdeaFest sessions – and 150 ticketed workshops targeting the hottest topics including communication and collaboration; educational policy and leadership; emerging technologies; instructional design; mobile learning; online and blended learning; technology infrastructure; Web 2.0 and digital teaching tools; and curriculum areas.
“From our stellar session line-up, to our expert keynotes, to our interactive exhibit hall, we’ve custom-built FETC 2015 to provide attendees with an experience that will impact them long after the conference is over,” said Gallagher.
The 2015 Exhibit Hall, a dedicated educators’ marketplace, will enable attendees to see and purchase the latest innovations in classroom technology from more than 500 companies, including industry powerhouses like Mediasite by Sonic Foundry, Scantron, Lenovo, Aver, Best Buy, Microsoft, Florida Virtual Campus, Insight Systems Exchange, CoSN, Epson, Lightspeed and Edmodo. This hands-on, interactive environment allows attendees to access the cutting-edge technologies transforming today’s education landscape.
