Selligent’s European legacy has shaped its solutions to offer some distinct advantages to US marketers with ambitious goals and limited budgets.

Selligent, the international marketing automation provider, has hired marketing industry veteran Mark Bell as its first vice president of US business development, an important strategic move as the company leverages its European success to ramp up its US presence.
“Mark is uniqely qualified to drive business for Selligent in the US,” said André Lejeune, Selligent’s Chairman and CEO. “Not only does he know how to create new relationships and build agency partnerships in this industry, his marketing technology experience equips him to understand how the Selligent platform provides US marketers with a competitive edge.”
Bell brings an impressive background to the position as an accomplished SaaS business development and channel executive, with a outstanding track record of driving revenue growth and building partner relationships for software technology companies.
Most recently, he was senior director of business development at Crimson Hexagon, provider of analysis software that delivers business intelligence from social media data for global corporations. Before that, he was vice president of business development for marketing automation solutions provider smartFOCUS, which was acquired by Emailvision. He has also held executive position at marketing services firms ClickSquared and Epsilon.
Bell’s appointment signals a key time for Selligent as the company builds on its success in Europe to put its solutions to work for US marketers.
Born in Europe to serve large European brands, Selligent’s platform was built to accommodate some demanding challenges, such as producing big results with more modest budgets. Selligent has helped smaller European marketing departments, with less IT support, succeed in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment while conforming to stringent EU data privacy regulations.
“Selligent’s European legacy has shaped its solutions to offer some distinct advantages to US marketers with ambitious goals and limited budgets,” said Nick Worth, Selligent’s chief marketing officer. “Mark comes on board at an exciting time, as early results show that Selligent fills a much-needed gap in the US marketing landscape.”
