Robert Morris University Offers Special Transfer Opportunity to Benedictine-Springfield Students
Springfield, Illinois (PRWEB) October 31, 2014 -- In support of the Benedictine University community as it ends its academic programming for traditional students in May at its Springfield campus, Robert Morris University Illinois is extending a unique scholarship program for those students wishing to complete their bachelor’s degrees.
The program allows for Benedictine transfer students to be automatically accepted by RMU. A Benedictine transfer scholarship will be available for students enrolling in the spring or fall of 2015 at the RMU Springfield campus.
Mary Wienhoff, RMU’s director of education, commented on the collaboration with Benedictine to serve its students: “We are looking forward to welcoming Benedictine students to our campus. The quality of their transfer courses and their previous choice of a private, not-for-profit institution will help them adjust very quickly to RMU."
Robert Morris will be part of a special Transfer Fair in Angela Gym at the Benedictine campus, 1500 N. 5th Street, Springfield, on November 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. At that time, students and parents are invited to meet with RMU admissions and financial aid counselors to discuss the academic programming and scholarships.
Robert Morris University Illinois is a not-for-profit, accredited baccalaureate and graduate degree granting institution, serving over 6000 students interested in getting an education in business, graphic arts, nursing and health care, culinary and computer studies at its main campus in Chicago, as well as at locations in Arlington Heights, DuPage, Elgin, Orland Park, Bensenville, Springfield, Peoria, Schaumburg and Lake County.
