At Brady, we design our label materials with the harsh conditions of the lab environment in mind.
(PRWEB) October 31, 2014
Brady (NYSE:BRC), a global leader in product and facility identification solutions, today announced a new video testimonial on the effectiveness of its FreezerBondz™ specimen identification labels. In the video, a research technician at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin discusses the challenges she faces when it comes to labeling and storing hundreds of thousands of samples, and how the durability of Brady’s labels has benefitted her research.
“At Brady, we design our label materials with the harsh conditions of the lab environment in mind. Our adhesives, inks and materials are engineered to stay intact when faced with chemicals, autoclaves, liquid nitrogen, high temperatures and more,” says Dana Ray, global market manager, lab and medical for Brady. “We take pride in our products and hearing how we are helping labs do their jobs more efficiently is truly inspiring.”
In the testimonial, Crystal, a research technician at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, explains how her team is testing for Von Willebrand disease, a rare bleeding disorder. They have a variety of critical information to keep track of and need to keep samples labeled and inventoried correctly. In her experience, she found that Brady’s FreezerBondz labels effectively stick in harsh freezer conditions, where other labels would simply fall off.
“We’re grateful for the testimonial from the BloodCenter of Wisconsin on the reliability of our labels and look forward to continuing to help them achieve their research and productivity goals with our labels,” adds Ray.
