More and more local businesses are signing up for the service because they are having conversations with their ideal customer base.

TalkLocal, a local services marketplace that matches consumers to the right local professional by phone and in seconds, today announced that it has hired a new VP of sales, Paul Murskov.

Murskov, who brings over 8 years of B2B sales experience to the table, will be tasked with helping even more quality local businesses connect with the right online consumers by phone and in real time. TalkLocal has already delivered over 1 million leads to businesses in nearly every state.

“We are revolutionizing the way consumers connect with their local service providers. It is fast, easy and more importantly, very effective. We are seeing a significant increase in revenue with an overall lower customer acquisition cost because of this,” Murskov explained.

Interestingly, TalkLocal does not simply charge for leads. TalkLocal uses a Pay-Per-Conversation™ business model. It means that member businesses don’t pay a dime up-front nor are they charged any regular subscription fee. Instead, TalkLocal allows businesses to listen to lead details for every matching customer. Once they sign up, member businesses only pay a small flat rate when they speak to the customers who match their service, scheduling, and location needs.

“The TalkLocal sales team is helping grow our national footprint, which jumped 37% in September alone. More and more local businesses are signing up for the service because they are having conversations with their ideal customer base,” Murskov added.

To ensure that businesses get the kind of leads they want, TalkLocal allows businesses to select their lead preferences- including service area, job type and business hours. From there, the TalkLocal algorithm continues to learn business preferences based on call analytics and other forms of user behavior. When TalkLocal sends businesses free lead details, the businesses always reserve the right to connect for a small fee, or decline and pay nothing.
