CPAmerica International Announces 2015 Chair and Vice Chair of Leading Partners Retreat and Firm Administration Roundtable
Gainesville, Fla. (PRWEB) October 31, 2014 -- CPAmerica International announces that Roger Harbeson, Monroe Shine & Co., Inc., and Tony Morgan, Gollob Morgan Peddy PC, will be the incoming chair and vice chair for the 2015 Leading Partner Retreat, and that Becky Meeks, Robinson, Grimes & Company, P.C., and Ruby Tomlin, Gollob Morgan Peddy PC, will be the incoming chair and vice chair for the 2015 Firm Administration Roundtable. Both meetings will take place in Chicago at The Drake Hotel on September 29th through October 2nd.
“As part of a member-driven association, the chairs and vice chairs have a large role in the planning of the agenda for the 2015 conference,” said Alan Deichler, president of CPAmerica. “They are responsible for facilitating the committee calls and participating in planning calls.”
The newly appointed chairs and vice chairs will serve a one-year term that will end in October 2015.
Harbeson is president of Monroe Shine & Co., Inc., and provides audit, accounting and tax services to a variety of public and closely-held businesses, and specializes in services to community financial institutions. A member of the firm since 1980, he has served as director of audit and accounting and as the SEC practice group leader.
Morgan is a founding partner of Gollob Morgan Peddy PC. Prior to starting the firm in 1982, he worked ten years at a local accounting firm and became a partner there. He has now been the managing partner of Gollob Morgan Peddy for a decade. In addition to managing the firm, he is responsible for a variety of clients and focuses a significant amount of his time on Business Valuations and Litigation Support.
Meeks is the firm administrator for Robinson, Grimes & Company, P.C. She is responsible for managing the largest firm in Columbus and one of the largest firms in the state of Georgia.
Tomlin is the firm administrator of Gollob Morgan Peddy PC. She has been with the firm for the past five years and manages the firm’s daily operations and processes to help sustain a success-oriented business environment that balances client services with international operations.
