Boost VC Closes $6.6 Million Fund and Announces Fourth Tribe Including 15 Bitcoin Companies

Boost VC, one of the top accelerators in Silicon Valley, announced today that they have closed an oversubscribed $6.6 million fund to invest in 200 companies over the next three years, with a 50% focus on Bitcoin. Some investors in this fund are Marc Andreessen (individual), Ben Davenport (individual), Barry Schuler (individual), Rothenberg Ventures, Maven II, Kilowatt Capital, Tim Draper (individual), and Bill Draper (individual). Founded by Adam Draper and Brayton Williams in 2011, Boost offers dedicated housing in an entrepreneurial environment where companies are exposed to noteworthy speakers, influential mentors and potential investors.

"Since the inception of Boost in February 2011, we have worked on picking good people, and it's working,” said Adam Draper, Founder of Boost. “Our focus over the past three years has been to find the most innovative people starting world changing companies. We are interested in everything from Enterprise to Rockets, 3D printing to Bitcoin... and anything that gets us closer to building an Iron Man suit.”

Adam Draper is a fourth generation venture capitalist and this is the first fund that has three generations of venture investors invested in it.

The fourth tribe at Boost completed the program on Thursday, October 30. With more than 25 companies and 15 of them Bitcoin focused companies, each one is on the edge of innovation. Below is a list of the companies in the fourth tribe:
