Christine Celis and Gypsy Brewing Partners Debut Dubbel Coffee Porter with Series of Brewmaster Tasting Events.
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) November 07, 2014 -- This week, Christine Celis, daughter of world-renowned brewmaster Pierre Celis, along with Uncle Billy’s Brewery and Austin Java will officially debut the second beer in her Gypsy Collaboration series. The World’s First Dubbel Coffee Porter will be featured on tap this week with tasting events at several Austin establishments including BB Rovers on Friday, November 7th.
Christine and collaboration partner, Rick Engel of Uncle Billy’s Brewery & Smokehouse, will be on hand to meet craft beer lovers and talk about the brewing process and character behind the creation of this unique Porter, along with Uncle Billy’s head brewer Trevor Nearburg, brewer Kim Clarke and Master Coffee Roaster Patrick Palmer.
Ms. Celis will also be on hand to answer questions for craft beer enthusiasts at several additional Austin establishments over the next month, including:

Uncle Billy’s Brewery & Smokehouse, a popular local brewpub located in the heart of Austin’s restaurant row on Barton Springs Road, has more than doubled its current brewing system, effectively tripling its brewing capacity. One of the largest brew pubs in Texas, the recent expansion will accommodate a new 20-barrel Criveller system, providing an annual capacity of approximately 5,000 barrels of craft beer.
