Cloudamize, the leading provider of data and analytics for cloud performance management, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Kanarek as chief operating officer and Gabrielle Smith as vice president of sales and business development. In his role, Kanarek will manage the strategic and operational initiatives of the data platform to drive further customer success. Smith, who joins Cloudamize from Amazon Web Services, will be responsible for scaling the company’s commercialization efforts. The new hires follow the company’s announcement that it has rapidly expanded its customer base and increased its value to its clients throughout the cloud life cycle.

Kanarek began his career helping Compaq, then Hewlett Packard build out new market segments by adding suites of software products to their hardware solutions. His understanding of on-premise and off-premise solutions has been developed over more than 15 years in senior management roles, including operations, product strategy, corporate development, and business development. Prior to joining Cloudamize, Kanarek was vice president of product management and business development for Tenduit, a provider of software solutions for the data center and distributed environments.
The appointment of Kanarek and Smith coincides with a rapid increase in adoption of Cloudamize solutions. In response to the demand for detailed infrastructure data for customers and partners, such as system integrators and managed service providers, the company is ramping its efforts to grow a strong reseller channel.

Smith joins Cloudamize from Amazon Web Services where she helped build out their channel program. Her career includes successful stints accelerating sales growth through both direct and partner programs for Microsoft, SHI, Softchoice, and Cloud Sherpas. Smith has more than decade in sales leadership roles effectively helping customers map their business objectives to infrastructure solutions.
