This November, former NFL football player, Jovan Haye, his wife, Jennifer Haye, and his brother, Michael Haye, will be releasing Yapped App, a new social media tool and mobile smartphone app that creates a fun and interactive voting system for users and their followers. The Haye brothers teamed up with the HuB Sarasota to develop the app.

Yapped allows users to simply take photos of items they wish to inquire about, put them side by side, and share with their followers. As votes come in, the app comes up with a percentage to easily tell the users which of their items is the most popular amongst followers, without having to go through the trouble of reading a ton of posts.

“My brother Michael and I are very excited for social media enthusiasts to begin using Yapped on a daily basis to receive fast and effective input from their followers,” said Jovan Haye, co-creator of Yapped App. “What we’ve aimed to do with Yapped is allow people to instantly let their friends or fans help them make a decision. Users simply snap a few photos, upload to the app, and the voting begins.”

The idea for Yapped was sparked when the Haye brothers noticed the amount of questions celebrities, athletes and others were posting to social media in search for answers from their friends and fans. On many occasions, there were so many answers below the question that the brothers wondered how the individual who posted could reach a concrete answer. Yapped was created to solve this problem – to take the noise and clutter out of social media voting.

“Many of my friends have closely followed the development of the app, which took about 6 months total,” said Jovan Haye. “They’ve shown a lot of interest in using it, especially my old teammates who are always looking for feedback from football fans. Yapped creates a whole new way for people to engage through social media and get answers faster.”
