Interested in traveling the U.S. and making an impact in a local community? Apply to Trip of a Lifetime today. By participating in this program get the unique opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. and have a rewarding and enriching experience. Travel with similar and like-minded peers, but also get the opportunity to serve and directly impact nearby local communities. Before applying please make sure to carefully read the selection criteria. Applicants who do not meet the criteria will not be considered.
The selection criteria is as follows:
• Currently in grades 8-11
• Able to spend two to four weeks during the summer to go on a teen tour or community service trip with an established teen travel company.
• Family must qualify for financial need either through the Free Lunch Program, Food Stamps, or another federal assistance program. If you don’t qualify for these programs but can still exhibit financial need, please email us so we can work with you to determine whether you are qualified to apply. This is a needs based program.
• Have never been suspended from school or been involved in any criminal activity.
• Use the experience to become a catalyst for change in your community. Previous students have volunteered at hospitals, started community service clubs, and have run for student government all as a result of their experiences.

The Trip of a Lifetime application will open in November. Make sure to apply by March 15, 2015 to be considered for the Trip of a Lifetime Program.
