The Brain Aneurysm Foundation’s Medical Advisory Board recently welcomed its newest member, Dr. Avi Setton from North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Setton joins other renowned neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interventional neuroradiologists from around the United States and Canada, providing continued expertise and support to the Foundation.

Dr. Avi Setton serves as Director of Interventional Neuroradiology, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Co-Director of the Brain Aneurysm Center at the North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. As part of the Brain Aneurysm Foundations’s Medical Advisory Board, Dr. Setton joins other renowned neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interventional neuroradiologists from around the United States and Canada, providing continued expertise and support to the Foundation.

Christine Buckley, Executive Director of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation noted, “We are very fortunate to have Dr. Setton’s expertise and support.” She continued, “We are excited to work with Dr. Setton on our initiatives of patient education and research initiatives.”

Now celebrating 20 years of service, the Brain Aneurysm Foundation was established in 1994 in Boston, Massachusetts with a mission to promote early detection of brain aneurysms by providing knowledge and raising awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors; work with the medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families; as well as to further research that will improve patient outcomes and save lives.
