Argonne National Laboratory Selects Freeslate’s CM Protégé Powder Dispense System to Automate Solid Dispensing

The automated powder dispense system is designed to be flexible and easy to use while retaining the accuracy and precision of Freeslate’s proprietary Powdernium™ technology. Argonne National Laboratory will use the system to enhance research in several key programs in the areas of catalysis, materials, and energy.

The platform can operate either as a stand-alone solution, or it can be integrated with other analytical or CM Protégé Systems to create an entire automated workflow. The flexibility of the system allows it to support a wide array of applications ranging from pharmaceutical development to chemical development.
For applications that require integration, the CM Protégé Powder Dispense System can interface with Freeslate’s Lab Execution and Analysis (LEA) software. An optional positive displacement pipette enables the precise and accurate dispensing of liquids with viscosities up to 5000 cP.
