gloStream Further Solidifies Its Value-Base Care Solutions, Adds Vice President to Company
TROY, MI (PRWEB) November 06, 2014 -- gloStream, a performance management services company for independent medical practices, announces today that it has hired Deb Bach, a healthcare executive with decades of health systems operational experience as vice president to lead its revenue cycle management (RCM) operations. In her role, Bach will lead RCM services amongst its practices and healthcare professionals as part of gloStream’s mission to simplify operations for independent medical practices.
Having spent a career redefining the relationship between health care systems and their revenue cycle management (RCM) services, Bach comes to gloStream in a newly-defined role that represents a significant shift for independent medical practices from fee-for-service to value-based payments. As providers throughout the country battle rising complexities and regulations, Bach’s role is integral in ensuring the long-term viability within the medical practice community.
“The evolution within practices to transition toward a value-based care delivery and payment model is fast approaching,” said Mike Sappington, CEO, gloStream. “Adding Deb Bach is such a huge element to creating the collaborative atmosphere where practices can work with a value partner that has the necessary expertise and vision. Deb’s understanding of the market provides our practices with a tremendous resource to help with the transition to fee-for-value.”
In her more than three decades at Beaumont Health System, Bach’s role expanded from internal communications to assisting in the operations of the wide-ranging, revenue cycle organization. Most recently in her role as Director of Professional Revenue Cycle, Bach provided across the board leadership from process improvements from time of patient scheduling to many services related to coding and collections on claims.
“gloStream is truly ahead of the curve when it comes to delivering tangible, value-based services for independent practices,” Bach commented. “I’m excited to join the professional staff who have a keen sense of forthcoming healthcare trends, while keeping the focus on delivering high quality patient care.”
This addition continues a banner year for gloStream, where it has increased its RCM services department by over 130 percent in year-over-year revenue growth. gloStream has also expanded its staff by nearly 45 percent since the start of the year. This service expansion comes on the heels of the tremendous success that has been led by its performance management service offering – gloComplete.
