The awards, hosted by JM Northern Media LLC honor “the best stories from the world of dogs, cats, horses, wild beasts, birds, insects, reptiles, and other creatures great and small.”

Regnery Kids and Regnery History books that received awards include:

  •     Freddy the Frogcaster and the Big Blizzard by Janice Dean, winner in the Science category.
  •     Awesome Possum Family Band by Jimmy Osmond, runner-up in the Biography/Memoir category.
  •     From Sea to Shining Sea by Callista Gingrich, received an honorable mention in the Wild Card category.
  •     Sgt. Reckless: America’s War Horse by Robin Hutton, runner-up in the Working Animals category.
