Ari Albinder believes strongly in the Boca Raton Tribune’s initiative to support independent journalism.

Since 2011, The Boca Raton Tribune Internship Program has been giving local high school and college students an opportunity to achieve real world journalism and business experience. When Ari Albinder, Broker and Owner of Mizner Grande Realty, learned of the Boca Raton Tribune’s campaign he enthusiastically threw in his support with a $300 donation. Albinder also recommends that others go online to http://igg.me/at/bocatribune to watch the video and donate.

“The Boca Raton Tribune is changing student’s lives by providing them real workplace experience with this internship program. The Tribune is a true local paper that covers Boca Raton better than anyone else. The fact that they want to integrate young people into telling the stories of Boca Raton was something that I wanted to support,” said Ari Albinder is Broker and Owner of Mizner Grande Realty.

For more than 4 years, The Boca Raton Tribune has been providing hyper-local independent journalism in Boca Raton without any external investment. All the funding for this program was provided by the Heizer Family, the owners of the newspaper. Through the years, they have been investing more and more in the talented students of Boca Raton

“We send a big thank you to Ari Albinder and truly appreciate his support. Ari has built a stellar real estate firm and understands the importance of giving opportunities to our youth,” said Douglas Heizer, Publisher and Owner of The Boca Raton Tribune (http://www.bocaratontribune.com). “We are proud of our internship program and many of our past interns have gone on to successfully work in the mainstream press. That’s why we look to grow the program with the community’s support.”

“I love the fact that owners of the Boca Raton Tribune have created this crowdfunding campaign and I really hope the community rallies around it,” added Albinder.
